Channel
Account Manager
Build partnerships. Create opportunities. Help shape our growth in Ireland.
Critical Cloud is growing, and we're looking for a Channel Account Manager to help us develop existing strategic technology partnerships, create new commercial opportunities and grow existing customer relationships.
You'll be our first full-time commercial hire in Ireland. That means plenty of ownership, direct access to the leadership team and the chance to help shape how we build our partner-led business across the region.
You'll report to Chris Webb, our Chief Revenue Officer, a co-founder who has taken a managed services business from zero to exit. You'll inherit established partner relationships rather than starting cold, and you'll have the freedom to deepen them, shape new opportunities and influence how our Irish business grows.
We're building our talent pipeline for this role and welcome applications now.
- Develop strong, trusted relationships across our existing strategic technology partnerships
- Create new opportunities through partner referrals, joint activity and account collaboration
- Develop existing customer relationships and identify where Critical Cloud can add more value
- Lead early-stage discovery and qualification, bringing in technical specialists when needed
- Represent Critical Cloud at partner and customer events
- Own your pipeline and maintain a clear, reliable view of opportunities and forecasts
- Work closely with our leadership and delivery teams to turn opportunities into successful customer outcomes
- 3-5 years of B2B technology sales experience
- Experience generating revenue through partners, channels or alliances as well as direct customer relationships
- A track record of building productive commercial relationships and turning them into qualified opportunities
- Confidence speaking with senior technology and business stakeholders
- A consultative approach: you listen first, understand the problem and sell the right outcome
- Comfort working independently and taking ownership of a developing market
- Based in Dublin, with the right to work in Ireland without sponsorship
- Experience in cloud, observability, managed services or technology consulting
- Experience working with vendor or ecosystem partner programmes
- Experience selling technical services rather than software licences alone
We're a specialist cloud and observability business built for technology-led organisations that want expert support without the overhead of a large consultancy. We operate with a small, experienced team, move quickly and give people real responsibility.
We are the world's first "Powered by Datadog" accredited managed service provider, and Critical Support, our 24×7 managed cloud operations service, is what most customers buy first. That gives you a genuine technical story to take to partners and customers, not a me-too pitch.
This is a role for someone who wants to build on strong foundations rather than start from nothing.
This role offers remote working, giving you flexibility to work from home when you're not with partners or customers. You'll have access to hot-desking in a central Dublin innovation and coworking hub, providing a professional base in the city when you need it.
We expect you to spend at least one day each week on-site with partners and customers in Dublin. Some travel to the UK will be required to spend time with the wider Critical Cloud team.
Not a values list. How the commercial team actually operates.
Understand the problem before proposing the solution. The partners and customers who stay are the ones who felt understood before they were sold to.
Learn the technology, the market and what matters to the people you work with. You don't need to be an engineer, but you do need to care about what you're selling.
Keep momentum, follow through and make sensible decisions quickly. Opportunities go cold when they stop moving.
Be dependable with customers, partners and colleagues. Your forecast is your word and your follow-up says who you are.
Commission is uncapped. You earn what you close.
We're building our talent pipeline for this role and welcome applications now.
- 25 days holiday plus public holidays and a paid day off in your birthday month
- Company-funded professional certifications and development
- Enhanced parental leave
- Remote and flexible working
- Company laptop and equipment

- Business travel covered
